Overview: |
Promotes the use of Earth observations to improve the prediction of, preparation for, response to, mitigation of, and recovery from natural and technological disasters, including floods, hurricanes and landslides. Uses space and aerial based assets to answer complex questions, help with predictions, and incorporate cutting edge technology into disaster support. Produces ready to use products and services to help emergency responders make decisions. Program is made up of a diverse team of people with science, emergency management, and disaster risk reduction experience. |
